Task Force Meeting 1 

October 22, 2019

The first meeting was held on October 22, 2019. This meeting was to introduce the consultant to those members of the Task Force and explain the purpose of the project. This presentation explained multiple planning concepts and the schedule for the upcoming year. General analysis of the existing conditions of the site and national trends were presented. Additional case studies where similar projects have been done or are currently on-going were also discussed. 

Task Force Meeting 2 

December 17, 2019

The second meeting with the Task Force was held on December 17, 2019. This meeting was a recap of the previous meeting, with another explanation of the purpose of the project and the process. This meeting also provided a summary of input from the community and previous Task Force and Redevelopment Commission meetings to start determining what the concerns and desires of this project were. More analysis of the existing conditions were done and presented to the Task Force during this meeting to talk about preliminary design ideas and begin thinking about some design concepts ahead of the week-long visioning workshop scheduled for January 13th  through the 16th in 2020. 

Task Force Meeting 3 

February 11, 2020

The third meeting was held on February 11, 2020. This meeting focused on the public input from the focus groups and Open House held during the Design Workshop, the online survey responses, and additional feedback from early in the process. All of the feedback received was used to help define the vision and guiding design principles for the project. During the week-long visioning workshop, two design concepts were developed and presented to the Task Force.
